Summer blog

The summer holiday begins with a trip across the channel. I drive then from Dunkirk to Denmark. The house on Fyn has a garden, once the table and benches have been brought out, knitting, meals and cycles to the beach the days soon pass by. Friends and family visit and we look forward to taking them to the Sommerhus beach or the Beech beach. Today I am at the local town of Otterup, in the library finishing the website, which is now live. The plan is that I will update the photos regularly during the terms and use the blogs to highlight curriculum and events.

Over the next week I will be publishing the new early years requirements coming into place in September.

I have been picking the windfalls, Reine Claude plums, rosehips from the beach, red and blackcurrants so we will have jars of jam and jelly

I am beginning each day with the typing up of a poet for Dennis, as gift for his 88th birthday on 23rd August. A second edition of a book he edited in 1994 will be printed in the autumn
